Iris: The Window

Painted in Antibes, France | November 2025 | 14.8 x 21 cm | Watercolor on 300g Paper.

This painting emerged over several days, guided by a recurring vision of a pupil-less eye opening in darkness, glowing from within. Layers of dots, washes, and pauses slowly revealed its center. The eye becomes a passage between sight and soul, inviting the viewer beyond what is seen and into what is held within. A window to the stars, to souls, and to the universe contained within.
