Remember
Painted in Antibes, France | September 2025 | 14.8 x 21 cm | Watercolor on 300g Paper.
During this period, my vision felt lifted, as if everything were floating, colors brighter, and depth revealing itself everywhere I looked. At the beach, relaxed under the sun, I watched vibrant blue reflect in my glasses, traced by white curves and deep, night-like shadows. A phone call with an old friend from art class came to mind, awakening a forgotten creative fire. One hand on the phone, the other on paper, I drew an eye. Trees grew along its lines, shapes forming naturally, as if they had always existed within me. That night, I translated the vision into blues and whites. Though the painting feels silent and cold, it carries a sense of calm, clarity, and a reminder of a true identity once forgotten.
