Khalas | خلص

Painted in Antibes, France | October 2025 | 14.8 x 21 cm | Watercolor on 300g Paper.

Painted during a creative gathering in Antibes, this piece began with the Lebanese word Khalas: enough, a word in Arabic full of meaning. Blue traced the word across the paper, green and purple flowed around it, and dots multiplied, layering with gold to complete the composition. Only when the paper was rotated did a face emerge, its eyes alive and striking, revealing a presence beyond intention. The work is a meditation on intuition, perspective, and the subtle energies that guides creation.
