Illusion

Painted in Bayonne, France | January 2026 | 29.7 x 42 cm | Watercolor on 300g Paper.

Born from a recurring vision, this piece began as a circular field of dots. As my inner gaze widened, a dimensional eye emerged, floating above it, followed by flowing curves moving through the space beyond. For three days, I translated what I saw onto paper, dot by dot, in a deeply meditative state. I found myself questioning the nature of reality. What if everything we experience is a form of illusion? What if the world we call real is only one layer of something far greater?

When the painting was complete, the vision disappeared, leaving only its trace behind.
